The day is over

We all survived Joey's first day of school. Till about 11:30, Luke pouted because his Joe Joe was at school. He went into the playroom and sat on the bean bag chair. He never gets to sit there when Joey is home. Then he played with some imaginary guys (he informed me that I don't know them) and with them he went to Walmart, Daddy's school, but he told me that he'd be back to get Joe Joe.
So we walked up to Sherwood to get Joey. The walkers are dismissed first at 1:50. Luke and I were right there waiting. We weren't sure where to wait, but we found Joey. He told us that he had such a good time. He loves his teacher. He told us his favorite part of the day was recess. He said "There were no 2 year olds or 3 year olds outside only kindergartners." When he got home he showed me the work he did and told me the part he did wrong. He apparently told his teacher that he sort of messed it up a little and she told him that it was fine for the first day. He also colored a picture of a bear, it had a something on it about brown. Joey said that some kids messed it up, because you were suppose to color the bear brown and he did what he was suppose to. He said he was tired, but I couldn't get him to lay down for anything.
We headed to tae kwon do tonight. He is doing an amazing job with his new yellow belt form. Mrs. Poff is super proud of him.

Did Joey get homework? I so need to know the details because I think it is absolutely crazy that Chris goes to school for 7 hours and then has homework every night! When the heck is he supposed to play?

Anyhow, glad Joey loved school. It is so cool that he noticed some differences from preschool. What a smart boy!!!!!

I know Luke is going to love the next three years having mommy all to himself.

His homework is a simple thing that he did at school. He has to review it with me or Kevin and then we initial it. Yesterday it took 5 minutes if that.
