So 8 years ago today, I never would have imagined that I would be eating dinner with Joey and Luke. I never would have thought I'd laugh because a Luke David threw rice at me during dinner. In fact, 8 years ago at this time I was laughing and smiling and enjoying my wedding reception. I had dreams of Sannibel and moving to Pensacola. I didn't know what would happen, but I knew that I had just married the most wonderful man in the world to me. The last 8 years have taken us down so many happy roads and a few sad, the one thing that has been super is that Kev has been by my side the whole time.

Shoulder
My shoulder is 100% better today. I love some cortisone injections. Of course, my shoulder wasn't as bad as it was the last time. I love Dr. Jones, he understands me, unlike the evil lady at the Urgent Care. I guess since I wasn't crying and begging for Narcs, she thought I didn't hurt. WRONG!!! So my extra shift at the hospital this summer will be light duty work. That wasn't my plan, but if it gets this shoulder better then I am all for it. Of course, Dr. Jones understands that I have to lift plenty of weight at home.

Busy Busy Busy
Have been to see Dr. Jones. He feels that I pulled the rotator cuff again. He is going to treat me like a pitcher. I will be on light duty for 6 weeks at work. He refilled my ultram. He gave me another cortisone injection. I am going back to PT for the next month. He wants to get me to rest that joint as much as possible.
I turned in stuff to work about the light duty. Then I stopped at Bailey's to get some fruit and came home to get Joey.
I took Joey to a friend's house to make an art project for Kev for Father's Day. He said he was going to wait to give it to Kev on Father's Day. I gave it to him as soon as he saw him.
The poem says: This is my hand. My hand will do a thousand loving things with you. And you will remember when I am tall... That once my hand was just this small.
This evening we have to decide if we want to do a parade, music in the park, or the Sunset party with Clifford the Big Red dog.

All about life with Luke
Luke is beginning to talk. We love to hear him say lots of cute things, my favorite is "Night Night!"
If Luke is in bed and he doesn't want to sleep, he doesn't try to climb out of bed, he just takes the sheets off his bed and then screams. I go into find him sitting or standing on the mattress with the sheets on the floor.
He also most days is the first one at the table and the last one up. He is usually very serious about eating the whole time.
He still likes to take his nightly walk. He doesn't like to go to sleep until he has taken a walk. He doesn't have to be long it just has to be a walk.
He can get so dirty so quickly. I can wash his face and he can walk away and I swear 30 seconds later he will be dirty again.
He has learned to turn the water on in the bath tub.
He likes to look at a picture book I have of foods. This and Little Gorilla are the only two books he will read.
