Camping out

We decided to try camping with the boys. I had wanted Kev to take just Joey all last summer, but it just never happened. So since I got my work week finished early, I suggested we go camping at Big Lagoon State Park. Big Lagoon is only about 15 minutes from the house. We did some kite flying, some fishing, we had a camp fire and roasted hot dogs and marsh mellows.  I had visions of packing everything up because the boys wouldn't sleep or thought it was awful.  They loved and both are talking about when we can do it again.

Check out the huge tent.  I told Kev that he will be able to house half the boy scouts in the county in that tent.

Joey ask to go to sleep and he stayed awake for about 3 minutes after he laid down.
