My one
Mrs. Kristie is always telling me that Luke is "my one." He is going to be the one to hurt himself. He is going to be the one to get into more trouble. This morning, while dropping Joey off at school, Luke decided to let go of my hand, running through the crowd of other people dropping off their kids hit the door has hard has he can and tried to run out into the road. Luckily for me, one of the other Moms grabbed him before he got there. So I warned him he can't stay with me he will have to get in the stroller.

Conversations with Luke
Now I first would like to say that Luke is all boy and to get him to sit still during this would be impossible. Secondly, he loves talking.
This morning Luke decided that he needed to wear underwear and not wear diapers. So he wore underwear for about 30 minutes until he accidently peed in them and then he would have nothing to do with the underwear. He was right next to the potty when he peed in them, I think he might have been trying to get to the potty. I know that when he decides to wear underwear all the time, he will have very few accidents. That is just how Luke does things.
Isn't he cute, even with cereal on his chest.
Wonder Mutt
Wonder Mutt went to the vet yesterday. He had chewed all the hair off of his hind end again and his skin was looking dark in color. He was scratching constantly. The vet said that it is just irritation from fleas and that his skin is inflamed from from the fleas. So he got a steroid shot, some new flea medication and we are to treat our backyard with some special flea treating solution. Last night he did not move a muscle and slept so good.

A rainy day
At Joey's school they started doing something for when it rains, we don't have to get out of our car. I pull up and they radio his class room and tell them to get him ready, then someone walks to his room to get him. Monica even buckled him in his seat. Well this is the first time that we had to do this, since they started offering it. Well this really messed Joey up. He heard Mrs. Nancy get the radio call and he thought it was the police wanting him. So when he got to my car he had a very scared look on his face. He had the looked as if he were going to cry. I think this is the same look that I gave Mom when I missed the bus. I managed to get him calmed down and he didn't cry, but he truly thought he was wanted by the police for some reason. This did bring several other conversation, like the police don't want him because he is a good guy and if the police want him they want to help him.
Monday is here
Monday is here. All people in our home are healthy. The boys were better by Friday. Joey was so excited to go to school today. I am not sure what they are doing this week, it is a surprise for the Mother's Day Tea on Thursday. He can't wait to take me to school on Thursday.
Luke is happy to have just his Momma home with him today. He has been eating very well, but last night he ate a huge dinner. This morning he got up and ate a bowl of cereal and has been eating Mickey Mouse fruit snacks and now pudding.
Luke in the outfit he picked out to wear. He had to have a ball shirt.
Eating fruit snacks.

More doctor's appointments
Luke woke up with a fever this morning and complaining of his mouth hurting. I just took him to see Dr. Grier. She checked him out and then cultured his throat, no strep. She is pretty sure Joey doesn't have it now. She said it is just a virus and he'd be better in 2-3 days.
Luke took a 3 1/2 hour nap. Of course he woke up with a fever. He came out to the couch and was yelling at me for hitting the couch while sweeping the floors. As soon as the temp came down he got up and decided to go fix his car. A few weeks ago, Kev took his car back to Pep Boy's about the brakes and they finally fixed it right. Well ever since then Luke has talked about fixing his car. He has spent countless hours fixing his car. As soon as it is fixed he has a list of things that he thought up that he will go buy at the store.
Fruit
Apples
juice
toy for Joe Joe
book for daddy
soap
donuts
pancakes
hotdogs
chips
shoes for momma (I was barefoot)
goldfish
With any luck we should see these items by the time he is 20, he is always fixing his car.

Back from Urgent Care
Took Joey to Urgent Care. She took one look as throat and said that is going require an antibiotic. Then the lady came in and said "He's strep is negative." The doctor said "I don't know about that!" Then she looked in his ears and said "Well that will need an antibiotic also."
So 2 ear infections and strep throat. She said that sometimes the quick test won't show strep when it is there.
He said he was hungry, but he hadn't had anything to eat since breakfast. I took him to McDonald's and got his nuggets and a milkshake. Came home dropped him off and headed to Walgreens to get him his antibiotic, decongestant and some Motrin.
He has been medicated.
