Happy Halloween

Luke came home from Mrs. Kristie's yesterday saying "It is Halloween!" I worked last night, but Kev decided to take the boys to Trick or Trunk at St. Paul's Lutheran (where Joey went to preschool). After they were done, Elmo and Bobo Fett came to visit me at work.

Tonight we had our Halloween party. We had 7 boys at our house and no girls. It was a delightful time. We are truly blessed to have such good friends and the boys to have such great friends.

Rather behind

A few weeks ago, my mom came into town for a week. We didn't do a whole lot with her. We just hung out at home mainly.

Kev took his Porsche to a VW car show. Apparently, a Porsche has a VW engine. Who knew?

Well he was thrilled his baby got a 3rd place trophy.

On Sunday while my mom was here we headed to the corn maze in Milton. It was a really nice family afternoon. My mom wasn't going to go, but we talked her into it and I think she was happy she went.

We have done nothing exciting since my mom left town. On Sunday, Luke got sick and has Mouth, Hand and Foot disease. From what I can tell about this, it is a miserable disease and we truly hope it leaves soon and never comes to our home again. Right now, he has at least 75 blisters in his mouth and is trying to break out with some lesions on his toes. He is living off of yogurt, milkshakes and popsicles.

Preparing for Halloween

We are preparing for Halloween. The boys got their Halloween costumes today. Luke has said for weeks he wanted nothing more than to be Elmo. So sure enough he picked out Elmo. Joey tried to talk him into some sort of Star Wars, but Luke wwasn't going to change his mind. Joey is going to be Boba Fett. This is a Star Wars character. He has been talking about this for months.

Today was a day for Luke to go to the babysitter. He doesn't mind going at, he says he is going to his school. He had a conversation with Mrs. Kristie that was so funny I had to add it.

Mrs. Kristie "Luke go get your shoes on so we can go outside to play!"

Walk with Dinosaurs

Joey and Kevin were lucky enough to go see Walk with Dinosaurs with Joe Poff, Patrick, Eric, and Matthew. They had a blast. Joey is so excited about it still.

Grumpy

Luke is grumpy this morning. I think he got up on the wrong side of the bed. He recently went outside to play. When he came in, he went to the freezer and got out a frozen pancake. I tried to get him to hand it to me so I could heat it up. He said "It is my pancake! You leave me alone!" in a very hateful voice.

Roll Tide

Last week Joey worked on his letter to Mike Johnson asking him to please sign his new Alabama Jersey and Luke's new Alabama Jersey. His dad went to the game and delivered the letter to Mike. Mike said that it was the first fan letter he ever received and he was putting it in a box of stuff from Alabama football. Mike signed the jerseys. Joey is super excited about this. He was super excited to wear it Sherwood today.

Luke was grumpy this morning. It was 65 degrees when we went to Sherwood, yesterday morning it was probably 80 degrees. Luke thought it was cold.
