The Turner Family headed to Charlotte, NC. Kevin had a class for a week, so that he could teach AP Environmental in the fall. The boys and myself just joined him so that we could have some fun.
Luke watching a movie, this might be one of the first that he sat through
Joey was loving the movies.
Sunday we went to the Schiele Museum.
Joey was looking for gems. Luke hated this.
Kevin and Joey were looking for fossils.
The boys at the Schiele Museum.
Joey couldn't believe that people actually lived like this.
They couldn't believe how bad the pigs smelled.
Joey couldn't believe that someone would live in this. He said it was very dark!

The Turner Men together.
Monday the boys and I stumbled upon Ham's for lunch. Kids eat free and they ate like little pigs. They loved this place.
The boys love dogs and geese.
Both of them couldn't see the ducks and geese enough.
Luke would scream "There's my geese!!"
The men slept together on a pull out sofa.
Discovery Place
Joey enjoyed dressing up.
Luke put this hat on for like 30 seconds and was done with dress up.
Joey can't say no to face painting.
Luke decided he'd get his face painted.
The Charlotte Nature Museum was an awesome place for Luke.
Joey could appreciate it also.
Luke wanted to be a bug.
Joey could see like a bug.
The next day we went to the Carolina Raptor Center.
This place was super cool, we all really loved it.
Luke Turner was our guide, not Luke the eagle.
Luke and me.
The men
Apparently there were a lot of bad guys here at the Raptor Center.
Who would have thought that a Bald Eagle would be named Luke?
After seeing the Raptors there were hungry boys.
We drove on back and found this pretty little lake. We tried to skip rocks. After the lake we drove to the Equestrian Center to see all the horses.
